“No Shave WishVember” is a fun, philanthropic initiative that brings together local law enforcement departments and agencies to help grant wishes for children in our community. Officers and administrative staff raise funds by seeking support from the community, family, and friends throughout the month of November.

How does it work?

Donors can select the department they wish to support, make a donation on behalf of a specific officer, and even leave a message for the participant.

Nine-year-old Austin Criner is a lovable, playful, and smart boy with a heart full of courage. Born on October 4, 2016, doctors discovered at just 24 weeks in utero that Austin had congenital heart disease—his pulmonary valve was missing. At only five days old, Austin underwent his first heart catheterization, followed by another just a month later, and his first open-heart surgery at three months old. Despite these challenges, Austin’s joyful spirit has always shined through—he loves being outdoors, playing baseball, and going bowling with friends. At 2½ years old, doctors placed an artificial valve in his heart, giving him renewed energy and a new zest for life. Last year, Austin bravely faced his third open-heart surgery at just eight years old, but today, he’s back to being an energetic, fun-loving kid—a true heart warrior who has endured six heart surgeries with endless strength and a big smile.
