“It sort of saved my life. I felt like I wanted to do something more.”

“The smile on their child's face means the world, it's priceless,” said Lane, “And they welcome us into their lives at probably the most vulnerable parts of their lives and we're just grateful for that.”

During a restaurant event, Jason met Eileen Lane, daughter of Winking Lizard owner John Lane.

After learning about the mission, she volunteered to deliver pizza for the charity’s very first hospital visit. What began as a simple act of kindness grew into a shared passion for the organization. Today, Beudert and Lane run Workshop Of Wishes as a husband-and-wife team.
